ADP currently serves auto, truck, motorcycle, marine, recreational vehicle and heavy equipment dealers throughout North America and internationally. Together with Reynolds and Reynolds (R&R) both vendors capture approximately 80 percent of the DMS market in the US. As one of only three public companies in the DMS industry (the others are Dealertrack and Quorum), ADP Dealer Services offers a complete DMS business suite with applications for Business Office, Front End, Fixed Operations and Dealership Wide needs. The ADP Drive system is the company’s latest platform that is also available as upgrade version Drive XL including Fast Lanes, Executive Desktops and mobile capability. Drive and Drive XL are offered as ASP (Application Service Provider – ADP will host dealer’s data) and on-site server solutions (dealer has server on premise). Recent product introductions include ADP ServiceEdge (for service appointments, service walk-around, and inspection), and ADP Telephony in the Cloud (ATC hosted collaboration platform powered by Cisco). ADP also offers lean entry-level DMS systems. While ADP Websuite is closed for new sales, ADP Dash is still available with a much lower price point than ADP Drive. ADP also runs one of the biggest certified third party access programs in the industry covering over 150 vendors. A certified program guarantees a secure, bi-directional and real-time data transfer between ADP and the dealer’s preferred third party vendor.
