Vendor Info

PBS is a privately owned DMS vendor from Canada that mostly targets smaller to medium-sized dealerships in the US and Canada. The company’s newest Aristo DMS solution is on a single software and database platform. Unlike other DMS vendors PBS already imbeds an array of applications into the system including a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM). PBS does not offer stand-alone software that is compatible with other DMS solutions.

Ease of use, bad on upgrades.

    Ease of use, easy to train staff on it.

    I think they grew too fast, not enough testing on upgrades. Lot's of issues every time an upgrade happens.

A lot oof things are marketed as "included" just check if the functionality of those items is what you expect

    All in one screens and ability to view anything relating to the customer in one click

  • Cons

    CRM is weak, Menu needs to be able to rate F&I products in order to function like a Darwin or Stone Eagle . This would truly make it "all in one"

When we installed PBS in 2019, I had no less than 36 PBS installers in my stores for "go-live" day. Their motto was "we don't want anyone to have to look for a PBS employee for help" I love that and it was the easiest install ever!!

Very easy for new users to figure out. Needs to improve for dealers with multiple locations and consolidating reports.

    Ease of use in accounting. Look is much more modern than our previous DMS, CDK.

  • Cons

    Consolidated reporting is awful. Doesn't make sense why they made it only a Dashboard and not a report to be customized.

Don't do it. They can't handle you, especially if you are a group.
